Summary
In the video you will see that I have create a parking app where people can pay on their phone. They will register with an email and password which will then redirect them to the login page.
Once the user can login their account will be load with a wallet of £ 0, which they will then see a tab page of Home and User account page. This will allow them to do a few things.
On the home page the user will be able to see how much money they have, able to transition to the transaction page, wallet page and booking page.
On the booking page the user will see a collection view of all the parking locations that are on our database. They will be able to swipe and select a location and use the picker tool to choose how long they want to park for. Once they have submitted, they will be redirect tot the home page show the time they have left to park on a countdown with a Progress indication how long they have left. The progress page show Green with time more that 50%, Orange when less than 50% but Greater than 25% and Red Less then 25%.
On the wallet page user can add money or go back to home, once they choose how much they want to add on the picker tool they will be redirect to the home page where the submit tool Sends a Message to get new balance.
On the transact page user can see what transaction are linked to their account and the how much it was.
I used Superbase Auth for the user accounts as they do all the password encryptions for me but in the video, you will see that I only store the user email, and License plate. This is I can link the email the data they create on the superbase database.
The Motivation behind the app is that I wanted to create a tool that would make it easier for people in their everyday life. In Second year, I had a group project where we designed an app where people could pay to book for car wash and appointments, this was only design in adobe XD. So, I wanted to do something around the same concept but to make a process easier that people use every day instead something only once in a while.
