5011CEM BIG Data Project
Description
This project is aimed at optimizing data processing using parallel processing techniques in MATLAB. By leveraging parallel processing, the goal is to significantly reduce the processing time of large datasets, making data analysis more efficient and scalable.
Installation Instructions
To run this project, you will need MATLAB installed on your system. Additionally, ensure that the Parallel Computing Toolbox is installed, as it is required for parallel processing functionalities.
- Clone this repository to your local machine.
- Open MATLAB and navigate to the directory where the project is cloned.
- Ensure that the Parallel Computing Toolbox is enabled.
- Run the main script file to execute the automated code.
Usage
Once the project is set up and the scripts are running, the parallel processing tasks will distribute the workload across multiple processors, speeding up the data processing tasks. Users can customize the input data and parameters according to their specific requirements.
Features
- Utilizes both sequential and parallel processing techniques to optimize data processing.
- Reduces processing time for large datasets.
- Scalable and adaptable to different data analysis tasks.
