300CEM---CrimeRate

The purpose of the application is to help everyone to stay safe and to try not to be victim of a crime. The application come with a series of four different tools, designed to help the user to understand how useful can the application can be in danger.


Mobile

If the user feels in danger, he only needs to shake his phone, and the application will ring the emergency number.

The application uses fragments for a better design and it adapts itself to any phone or tablet.

The mobile version has 4 functions:

  • Report a crime
  • Latest crimes
  • How safe is my street?
  • How to stay safe?

The GPS sensor and the accelerometer has been used in the application. Also the application has a version for android wear.


Wear

The wear version has only two functions:

List Crimes and SOS.

  • List Crimes - Police.data/api list will be fetched and showed into a list
  • SOS - will send a message to the device and the phone open a new activity and ringing to the emergency number.
