The History of Cryptography
History is full of examples of people trying to encrypt and hide information, and it has always been a battle between people who want to keep a secret and those that want to steal it. Lives have been lost and saved by the actions of both codemakers and codebreakers. There has also been a long history of "Unbreakable" ciphers.
Is there an Unbreakable Code
Right now, what is your “gut feeling”? Is it possible to make an unbreakable code? Or do you think that if there is some key that would allow an encrypted message to be decrypted, it must be possible to decrypt it given enough time or computing power?
Lets start with a talk on Cryptography that I delivered for the IOC, as part of our Lockdown Webinar Series.
Note
The Video is about a hour long, its interesting context, but not Vital for the module.
