HamNoSys Data

This repository contains a collated dictionary of HamNoSys notations for the lexicon of this project in 'English-to-BSL-Translation/app/HamNoSys Data/hamnosys.txt'. Please note that you would need to have the HamNoSys Unicode font downloaded on your system to be able to read HamNoSys notations. The downloadable font file for windows and documentation for keyboard usage can be found in this repository at 'English-to-BSL-Translation/app/HamNoSys Data/HamNoSys Font/'. If you require the downloadable font files for any other systems (Linux, macOS, etc) please refer to the following documentation link [https://www.sign-lang.uni-hamburg.de/dgs-korpus/index.php/hamnosys-97.html]. You can either download the writing system or use a browser based platform independent pallete. Also refer to [https://www.sign-lang.uni-hamburg.de/projekte/hamnosys/hns4.0/englisch/hns4.pdf] for syntax queries.
